Holly’s Pumpkin Pie and Crust

Holly’s Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 2 ½ Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Lard
- 1 Egg Yellow
- ⅔ Cup Milk With Egg in measurement
- 1 Tsp Salt
Instructions
- Mix all dry ingredients together
- Cut in Lard with pastry cutter
- Put egg yellow in 2/3 cup and fill with milk.
- Mix into lard mixture. Dough will be sticky.
- Cut dough into thirds.
- Place on floured surface and roll circle.
- Place in pie pan.
Pumpkin Pie Filling
Servings 3 Pies
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Pumpkin
- 1 ⅓ Cups Brown Sugar
- 2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Ginger
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 6 Eggs
- 3 Cups Milk
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 350° F,
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Pour into pie crust.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
- Let cool, add whipped cream as desired and serve.
